Airside Security
Problem:
Airports typically have hundreds of thousands or even millions of people visiting them each year. There is a growing minority of these people cannot speak or understand the English notices and standard requirements.
Security staff is often left trying to get a translator or their manager when someone refuses to do something simply because they don't understand the rules.
Solution:
Touch4 have created a 'flow' of the system in a touch screen format and provided interactive kiosks, so that if someone arrived at the airport and the security team wished to search them they could be taken to the kiosk and read the security notices in their own language (including Chinese, Urdu, Hindi, etc.). This allows the passenger to understand the structure of the search and be asked appropriate questions.
